I designed this poster for my twitter friend Jan Cabral who runs a non profit shelter for Dogs in Brazil. She is desperately trying to get "Charity Status" so that companies will support her and donate Food, Medicines and Supplies. The Charity was just about ready to be set up when, in January of this year, Brazil was hit by a Horrific Natural Disaster, caused by Landslides and Floods. Many thousands of people lost their lives and became homeless as did many pets There are countless videos of this on YouTube, but still many people worldwide are unaware of it. It didn't hit the news as the Japan and Thailand disasters did. Nevertheless it happened.
Jan and her husband need our help urgently to gain their charity status. So that more help will be possible. They are working alone at the moment, and cannot continue without help from animal lovers everywhere.
